One Man (Chares Ross) recreates, without the use of costume, set, or special effects, Peter Jackson’s trilogy: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and Return of the King.
Charles plays all the characters, performs the music, fights the battles, cries the tears, and ultimately triumphs over evil, in only 3600 seconds. Telling a story of his own. Sev chronicles his adventures as a cashier and service clerk at a 7-11 in Nelson – a small town in the mountains of BC – when he was a teenager, and discovering that his elaborate fantasy life could lead him to a life on the stage. The show’s in a similar style to his movie-based shows, with him acting all the parts and creating the environments with his voice and body. He does a thousand sound effects. He sings the stirring cinematic soundtrack in between lines. And he produces one gallon of perspiration per performance.
